Practical Philosophy classes

Even if life seems full of problems and difficulties, you can discover within yourself enduring happiness, deeper knowledge and a stillness of mind. The school of philosophy offers a 10-week non-academic course in Practical Philosophy that is designed to help you discover a deeper and a more significant meaning to your life.

The course draws on aspects of western and eastern philosophies and encourages you to participate in discussing philosophical themes such as living in the present moment, finding the wisdom within, the use of reason and discovering true beauty and how all of these and more may be experienced in everyday life.

By practising simple exercises you can find satisfaction, rest, and a fuller understanding of your life and everything around you.

Find out more about the course or see what students have to say about the course in this short video.
