A Celebration Concert in Romsey Abbey
The Wessex School of Philosophy was founded in 1983 and this year, 2018, marks its 35th anniversary. To celebrate this anniversary, a concert has been arranged to take place in Romsey Abbey on Saturday 30th June 2018 beginning at 6.30 pm. All existing students, past students and tutors, together with their family members and friends are invited to attend.
The music and songs will be given by professional and amateur musicians from the central philosophy school in London and from branches across the UK and they will perform a varied programme of vocal, choral and instrumental music under the direction of Adrian Green. The programme will include everything from plainsong, making use of the beautiful acoustics in Romsey Abbey, to works by Handel, Mozart and many others.
Guests may wish to picnic in the Abbey gardens before the concert begins at 6.30 pm.
Guests are asked to enter the Abbey after the Said Evensong Service which will finish at 6.00 pm

The Concert will last for 2 hours and there will be an interval when drinks will be served.
